Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

• 1 c Brown Sugar
• 1/2 stick Butter
• 3 Sweet Potatoes
• 1 cup water (or enough to barely cover the potatoes

Directions

1) Peal and slice the sweet potatoes in 1/2" to 3/4"
2) Place potatoes in a pot, barely cover with water
3) Add butter (sliced) and brown sugar
4) Cover and cook until tender

Great with cornbread!
